Lion Annual 1978

The next Lion Annual 1978 ( published in the winter of 1977 ) continued the trend of reprints , this time taking 3 strips from Lion weekly and editing them into single stories. The first 11-page story is edited from the last three episodes of "The Incas" ( Originally a six-part story in Lion from 20-Mar-71 to 24-Apr-71 , these are the episodes from 10-Apr-71, 17-Apr-71 and 24-Apr-71 ). Quite a bit of re-arrangement & re-drawing on this one . The second 8-page story is "The Raven" which originally appeared in the 05-Jun-71 and 12-Jun-71 issues of Lion. The final 8-page story is "Rikki Delgano" which originally appeared (straight after "The Raven") in the 19-Jun-71 and 26-Jun-71 issues of Lion. Adam had the honor of gracing the cover in a scene from the first story and perhaps the image I most associate with the character!
