Vulcan joined with Valiant to become Valiant And Vulcan No.1 ( Valiant Issue 685 - 10th April 1976 ) and was presented as a tear-out mini-mag for 3 issues in April 1976 before Valiant incorporated the title proper. The merger would last a total of 25 Issues. It went solo again for the final 2 Issues ( Last Issue- Valiant Issue 712 - 16th October 1976 ) before teaming up with Battle in October 1976 bringing AE to a permanent close as a weekly strip :-( For the strips that appeared after the close of the Vulcan amalgamation I have decided that in time they will appear here as they only ran to 2 Issues.
