Mark Dangerfield was actually an ancient Egyptian who was wrongfully accused of his fathers death. As punishment,he was buried alive with him. However,his father had written many secrets on papyrus which Mark learned before lying down to eternal rest. When he awoke in 1968 , he had the power of Osiris..able to take on many forms , become invisible , breath underwater...however each time he used his powers , he became weak and old. Only by immersing himself in flames could he be restored to his former glory! Below is the very first strip from Jag comic Issue 1 from 4th May 1968!
